♦ THIS forum focuses heavily on war. That does mean that people and Pokemon can die. There is violence and mature content (within the PG-13 rating, of course) and we will take our stories and roleplaying very seriously. Please consider this when joining the forum.

♦ FOR the most part, Pokemon Lore is going to remain the same in this universe as it does in the standard, real Pokemon world. Legendaries have the same history and stories. Pokemon are, for the most part, intelligent creatures, and are very powerful and unique.

♦ POKEMON trainers don't exist! Well, sort of... In this world, a pokemon trainer is a professional who trains pokemon to do tasks that would allow them to belong in human society. The largest example of this is a soldier training pokemon to be soldiers. Construction workers, daycare centers, hospitals, etc, may need trainers, as well.

♦ IN this world, the original Pokemon Trainers have become a thing of the past. There are novels telling stories about ten year-old children leaving home to become Pokemon masters - who train their pokemon to battle one and other. Records would suggest the last traditional Pokemon trainer existed over five hundred years ago. Some people even doubt such a thing and would call pokemon trainers of the past fairy tales for children.

♦ POKEBALLS are rare, ancient relics and are considered very valuable, unique, and even lucky; although, they do not function normally anymore. Players may not spawn these; however, admin may spawn them randomly in your threads.

♦ WHEN it comes to technological advances, this universe has electricity, televisions, cellphones, automobiles, advanced weaponry, bombs, guns, etc. It is very comparable to the real world in that sense.

♦ COMPANIONS are pokemon that travel around with your character. After your character is accepted, visit the Companions board in the Plotting Center to request your companion.

Only the brightest of young minds come here to be polished and the wisest of men will seek out their refuge here. Citrine is a nation known for their great technological advances and brilliant sciences. They have the best medicine and grow the richest, most delicious crops. They are the crafters of the future, always moving forward and leaving the past in the past.

No one preserves ancient ways quite like the Emerald Tribe. They are a modern, luscious city, but hold onto ancient values and traditions. They rarely let in outsiders and are swift to protect their home. They have a powerful connection with the pokemon and each citizen, without fail, must acquire a battle trait. Everyone is either a master of the fist, the sword, the bow, the knife, or any other sort of weapon. They craft brilliant gemstone jewelry and make the best teas.

Freedom, Strength, Independence

Ebony Rebels do not belong to a civilization or law, they belong to a code of the wild. They believe in the natural freedom that comes with birth. They believe that strength conquers all, both physically and mentally. They are wild and independent, living life on the edge and without hesitation. Most of the time, these people travel from place to place, either alone or in groups.
