♦ RESPECT is something that will be expected of everyone, no matter what. No trolling, flaming, or insulting one and other. Be helpful and courteous to your fellow roleplayers. Rank does not give you the authority to treat someone else poorly.

♦ ORIGINALITY is key. We will not accept copy and pasted characters or character designs from other forums, animes, movies, or any sort of material, even if the author is the same.

♦ PG-13 is the rating required by Proboards. As such, we must follow it. Use your better judgement and ensure any content is within this rating. Profanity, drug-use, and violence are allowed, but must be kept within the limitations given. No graphic depictions of horrific crimes and sexual content must always fade to black.

♦ AVATARS may not be larger than 150 x 150 pixels. Please and thank you.

♦ WRITE detailed and interesting posts. At the moment, we do not have a word requirement; however, we heavily encourage at least 300 words. Be descriptive and interesting - avoid boring one liners.

♦ LIQUID TIME is allowed on the forum and even encouraged. This means you can have your character in multiple threads at once, even though the threads are not technically happening at the same time.

♦ GOD-MODDING is against the rules, no matter what. God-modding, sometimes referred to as power-playing, is where you take control of another person's character. For example, Megan decides to attack Tom. She cannot say she punched him - she can say she attempted to do so. Tom will decide if the kick went through or not.

♦ INVINCIBILITY does not exist. If your character gets into a fight, use your better judgement. It would be unreasonable and unrealistic for them to always win or never get injured. Take into account age, genetics, and experience, and be fair.

♦ UNDERSTANDING POKEMON works like this: Chimaera (human spliced with pokemon DNA) can easily understand all pokemon with no effort. Normal people can understand some pokemon if they know them well enough, on a personal level. Psychic pokemon can use telepathy to send thoughts to humans.

♦ GENDER will be followed on the forum in the way that it works in the pokemon universe. For example, all Nidokings are males - thus, a Chimaera spliced with Nidoking DNA must be a male

♦ FACECLAIMS must be in anime style. We recommend you use anime characters or characters from Japanese video games. You may not use real life actors and you may not use characters from the pokemon universe.

:::: { Spawning NPC's } ::::

NPC stands for Non-Playable Character. This is a word often associated with video games. These are usually characters that exist in the world to make it feel fuller and more realistic; however, they are not characters that can be controlled. An example of an NPC is a shop keeper, hunter in the woods, police officer patrolling the streets, etc.

In our world, you are welcomed to spawn NPC's if they are needed in your thread to make it more complete. Such as, if your character is speaking with the cashier inside a store. You may also spawn pokemon NPC's in the world; however, your may not spawn any pokemon that are on the pokemon restricted list.

NPC's must be brief, temporary, and not hold a lot of weight for your plot, thread, or character. If NPC's become too in-depth, then you have basically created another character entirely. Please avoid doing this.
